CFAAA Fundraiser Pancakes With Santa
Pancakes with Santa Annual Fundraiser
The Citizen's Fire Academy Alumni Association holds it's annual fundraiser, Pancakes with Santa, in December.
The Pancakes with Santa Annual Fundraiser is a highly anticipated event held each year before Christmas. The event is organized to support and raise funds for the San Marcos Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association or CFAAA. This is the only fundraiser CFAAA holds and all proceeds and donations collected will go towards supporting fire department sponsored activities such as the smoke detector program.
The low cost tickets will get you delicious pancakes, and other breakfast dishes served along with a variety of toppings, syrups, and beverages. Additionally, kids can meet and take photos with Santa Claus, see the fire trucks and participate in arts and crafts activities. It's a great photo opportunity!
The Pancakes with Santa Annual Fundraiser is a great way to give back to the community while enjoying a fun-filled day with family and friends.
Keep an eye out for when Santa will make his way back to Station #5 on December 9, 2023! We look forward to seeing you there!
Pancakes with Santa 2019
Last held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am all were invited to Station #5 for Pancakes, Fire Trucks, and Santa! Pancakes with Santa is always a great event! Santa made his grand arrival on Ol’ Betsy and then listened to children’s wish lists. Santa & Elf Natalie took photos with almost 200 kids!
At the 2019 Pancakes with Santa, SMFD staff and CFAAA Alumni cooked up almost 500 sausage patties and over 1000 pancakes on the specially designed rotating pancake grill for the annual fundraiser for our friends at the fire department in 2019. Funds raised will go towards the needs or special projects the department may request.
We also want to thank the generosity of McDonald’s that donated drinks, butter, and syrup, Taco Cabana for bean and cheese tacos, and Mochas and Javas for donating hot coffee and hot chocolate. A huge thanks to all of our incredible volunteers that made this event so successful; especially former Mayor Daniel Guerrero who filled in for Santa and his elf, Natalie! They were THE BEST!
Keep an eye out for when Santa will make his way back to Station #5!
