Retired Lt. Tommy Bosworth
Lt. Bosworth, a native Texan, was born in Alice, Tx. in 1950. He later attended Southwest Texas State University and served in the National Guard before joining the SMFD in 1976. Tommy worked with the SMFD until his retirement in 2005 after a 29 year career with the department. He was very passionate about fishing, hunting, and gardening. Tommy is survived by his brothers David and Gary.
Retired Capt. Tommy Norris
Captain Norris was born in Dallas, Tx. in 1952 and briefly attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville before transferring to SWT where he met his wife Gwen. Tommy Joined the SMFD shortly after graduating from SWT until his retirement in 2016 after a full 37 year career. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with friends and family. Tommy is survived by his wife Gwen, children Jonathan, Joanna, Joshua, and Joy, 3 grandchildren, and brother Terry.
