COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT – DISASTER RECOVERY APPLICATIONS FOR THE HOUSING REHABILITATION/RECONSRUCTION PROGRAMS TO BE ACCEPTED
NOTICE OF AVAILIBILITY OF APPLICATIONS AND PUBLIC MEETINGS
The City of San Marcos was awarded $33,794,000 of Community Development Grant – Disaster funds to address the impact of the floods of 2015. Applications for participating in the Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Programs will be accepted Monday, May 14, 2018 through Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Community Development Block Grant Office, located at 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos 78666.
An Application Workshop will be held to answer questions and assist citizens in completing their Housing Program applications on the following date:
Tuesday, May 15, 2018
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Public Housing Authority, 820 Sturgeon Drive, San Marcos, Texas 78666.
Applications may be accessed at the Application Workshop (see above), on the www.smtxfloodrecovery.com website or at the Community Development Block Grant Office, located at 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos 78666. To apply for the Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Programs, submit an application to the Community Development Block Grant office, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas by 5:00 pm June 15, 2018. Applications may be mailed or submitted in person. If mailing an application mail to: City of San Marcos, Attention: Stacy Brown, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas, 78666.
